Architectural Digest / Rizzoli

Hoffman was engaged by Architectural Digest to design their latest Rizzoli publication, AD At Home—an editorial retrospective by Editor-in-Chief Amy Astley, highlighting her favorite stories from years of discovering how remarkable people live. Centered on the idea of interesting people at home, the book travels between worlds, into the personal spaces of cultural figures, creatives, and tastemakers around the globe.
To weave together these diverse spaces, Hoffman developed a design framework that brings rhythm and cohesion to the varied interiors and the personalities that shaped them. Carefully sequencing each story throughout the 496 pages, the layout introduces a deliberate sense of movement, carrying the reader across industries, cities, and styles with each page. The result is a publication that mirrors the editorial sophistication of Architectural Digest while establishing a distinct visual language that celebrates the individuality of its subjects and the continuity of Astley’s vision.
